Stonewall Rum – how and where

Stonewall Spirits Caribbean Spiced Rum is created from an authentic and unique single-source Jamaican rum.

Flavours

As you take each sip, your palate will discover notes of caramel, exotic spices, and bold Jamaican rum. Our Spiced Rum presents a rich blend of flavors; even when mixed with coke or ginger, the caramel and spice notes remain prominent. The sweetness of caramel, figs, and fruits complements the exotic hints of ginger, Indonesian cloves, and cinnamon seamlessly.

Origins

The rum travels the ocean back to the U.K. where our master distillers take the smooth molasses-based spirit and gently distill into the liquid a select range of spices and fruits including nutmeg, fresh ginger, gentian root, Indonesian cloves, cinnamon sticks, and figs. With a few extra and secret ingredients (family secret sorry!)

After leaving the newly spiced rum to fully infuse, we add a dash of sweet caramel, and the Stonewall Spirits Spiced Rum is born.

Perfect Serve

50ml Stonewall Spiced Rum, Coke, Ice, Lime to garnish. If you like a real kick try mixing with Ginger Beer.

A fight for equality & Acceptance

The Story of the Stonewall Riots

This spirit was born on 28th June 1969 in The Stonewall Inn New York at precisely 1.20am

Stonewall Spirits retells the inspiring events of the 1969 Stonewall Riots and how one night became a pivotal moment for the LGBTQ+ community which still resonates today. We believe it’s important to reintroduce the story to each new generation. We also ask every customer to tell family and friends why they purchased the bottle and hopefully retell themselves the story of the riots. By doing this we hope to not only keep the riot's memory alive but also spread acceptance and equality and reduce homophobia through education.
